We have recently received licenses for Microsoft Project 2007. We are currently using Project 2003 with Project Server 2003. My question is, will there be any issues with running Project 2007 on our PC's and Project Server 2003 on the server? Has anyone tried this?

I would check that resources work calendar to see that they have a 6.5 or 8 hour work day. They could be over allocated if they are set on a work day with less hours

I believe that you can also right click on the top of a column and select "Insert Column". Then you would insert the "Task Calendar". If your calendars are set up correctly, this should allow you to select the calendar that you are looking for......

Could this not be as simple as the equipment needing to be a "material resource" and not a "work" resource? If you add the column "resource type" you should be able to change the equipment to "material" instead of "work". Not sure though.
