When dialing a long distance number our provider prompts for a 4 digit authorization code for billing purposes. I cannot get Lync to send out the auth code and so we are unable to make LD calls. I have tested DTMF with off site IVR systems and that seems to work fine. I even called my mobile...
We use a company called CXtec. They will buy a lot of old equipment as their primary business model is equal2new. Not sure which branch you would want to contact as we are in their healthcare section, but we've had nothing but good luck with those guys. Their main number is 800-767-3282.
What version of Softphone are you using? We have a dozen or so deployed across a variety of remote sites with mixed results. Typically I recommend a 4meg internet connection as the minimum as it covers the download/upload requierements and then some. Keep in mind that you will be losing QoS...
RichardLynch,
I use a solution called Microcall that attaches via serial cable to a CDR out of the PBX. The settings on the data collection machine are 2400 Baud Rate E-7-1. You might also need a modem eliminator, not necessarily, but it couldn't hurt to try throwing one in.
Good Afternoon,
I have a BCM 400 running 3.7. On it I have a user who has a TF# that points directly to her DID. If a call comes in from the TF# while she is not on a call it comes in properly. If the call comes in from the TF# while she is on a call it gives a message that the number you...
Good Morning,
I did a search and didn't see the answer to this question, it could be I just don't know what to look for.
I have a BCM 400 running 3.7 on build 2.4f and it has been requested that we disable a callers' ability to opt out to the operator once they have been placed in a skillset...
If memory serves, any prompt that displays : after the prompt text will allow you to enter ? and get some help, at least a list of commands, as well. This may not be the case with all Releases but I know it works in Rls 3 and thus would assume it works in the newer loads as well.
Good Idea, it's easier for somebody to remember a two digit number than a ten digit. Also means we don't have to post our numbers on the wall by the phone where everyone can see them. Thanks.
I was kinda thinking that might be the case. I wanted to just set this up as a Callpilot App, but since I'm the only telecom guy for the company they don't want something that the IT guys can't do easily from the phoneset.
Good Morning All,
We use an on-call number in our office that we forward to a designated user at close of business each day. What I want to do is setup the phone to have all of our numbers programmed in so that whoever forwards the phone need only punch Forward then hit the appropriate name to...
If it helps you can get some of the older licenses again. The following thread has the end date:
http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1542303&page=6
The latest version requires a license server. Our vendor sells the licenses at about 10 dollars a pop I beleive. Basically I setup a machine and had our vendor install the server and licenses. I assume you could install the server yourself but you have to pull the keycode for licenses down...
