ESA 911 call not going through as local since the PSTN requires the
TON to be NPA The DMI is unable to Manipulate the CTYP from LOC
to NPA for ESA calls
I have a 6.0 system and I am trying to set up e911 to RedSky.
This is a successful call made by dialing direct

We have the latest version of CallPilot client Release 05.00.41.167 running on windows 7. We occasionally have the client fail. When a voice message is opened it plays for about 7 seconds and stops. Subsequent attempts to play it receive a file error. Deleting the user's Windows profile...

Two OSN records, two QSIG records on the same loop and channel (from MSGI trace) and two outbound calls calls on different PRI channels. The first one is the "hang up" at the PSAP. The second call completes normally. It looks like the Cisco is trying the call twice, CDP, local, long distance...
When a user on the Call Manager dials 911 the call is sent out on one of three QSIG T1s to a CS1000 running release 6. The CS1000, using ESA sends the call via PRI to the PSAP. Every call sends two OSN call records. The PSAP gets the call and a “hang up” from the same number, at the same...
You need an RLOGIN client to connect via IP to a Call Server TTY. Download PuttyTel and use that. Make sure you have a lot of call registers. If the connection goes down, it can fill the registers and shut down the PBX.
Inbound PRI DID calls Call Forwarded to a hub site over SIP trunks completes once, then fail for 10 seconds, then complete again. Both sites are CS1000MG with a recent 6.0 upgrade. During the 10 second window, that calls fail, the virtual D-channel shows no message. The D-channel to the LEC...
You could name it using a DCNO. You would have to send it out and back in to the PBX. This is an ugly solution so I hope someone comes up with something more elegant.
What kind of handsets are you using? The 6140 and 6120 need OAI turned on in the handset. Try using the auto register feature to find the sets. You can IDU the TNs to check the MAC address. Repaired sets are sometimes marked wrong.
I'm using CDMA in a 500 set's CLS to get CDR. If I dial the DID for the set and let it ring once I get a record with a short duration. Is there a way suppress call records from unanswered calls? The inbound service is PRI so answer supervision is available and I have it turned on.
I've installed an 1140e with a KEM. Keys 1-8 on the second page (56-63) do not work. It's not the KEM, I have two sets doing this and the page 0 keys 1-8 (32-39) work

Thanks Fletch. The Cypress is programmed as an E&M Tie line. The outbound facilities are PRI. Any guess on what to tell the Cypress people. All signaling is in band. Do they need to append digits or something?
