Taking a backup off UC110 with WinSCP

Trying to take a backup off of a UC110 module using WinSCP. I can log into voicemail pro client with Administrator username and password. I can log into 7071 with the same Administrator username and password. However when I try to use WinSCP with the same Administrator username and password I...

Embedded VM - First 5-6 seconds cut off of voicemail messages

Long story short, the upgrade did not resolve the problem. In the end we had to re-host the licenses to a new SD card. Problem solved.

Embedded VM - First 5-6 seconds cut off of voicemail messages

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems the problem is happening on non-IP extensions also. A test was done on a 9508 and it had the same issue. The caller does hear the message prompt. Both if the user records a personal message and if the mailbox has the default Avaya greeting. We tried...

Embedded VM - First 5-6 seconds cut off of voicemail messages

Ok. We were thinking about that. Just thought we would get some other ideas before we went that route. Thanks again.

    Restoring a backup to UC110

release r11.1 We're trying to restore a backup from one uc110 to new uc110. Both release versions are the same. We've used winscp to move the file over from the Immediate folder to the Other backups folder. We can login to the uc110 on port 7071. When we go to the settings tab and backup...

    Compensation for On Call

When working for a small interconnect years ago, it was flat $150/week CDN, plus 1.5/hr to provide phone support. If we had to go out it was minimum 3hrs @ 1.5/hr. Continued at 1.5/hr for anything over the 3 hours. This was about 12 years ago these rates. Working for major telco is the way to...

    UCA/MiCollab desktop phone

From the doc of personal experience. I had the same issue before the first time I used the softphone as an app server port and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work until a colleague told me about this MAC address. Apparently this has carried forward since this softphone came out so if...

    UCA/MiCollab desktop phone

If you want to use it as an app server port you don't check off the SIP tick box. It's not using SIP. I think it's using Minet when it's an app server port. You also need to make sure you have the MAC address field filled out in the 3300 if you're using it as an app server port. I've seen...

    Nupoint csv import

In your template you need to check off "Include Primary phone". As soon as you check "Include primary phone" the "Use Extension Number for Mailbox " will ungrey and now you should be able to use the import to assign the mailboxes.

SX-200 AX ICP>PMS Integration>Guest Room Phones Local & LD Calls

Go to your attendant console and make sure they aren't being restricted by the console. I think the default system option is to automatically put the room phones to internal only. You can change that in the system options.

    Mitel 3300 Sip Trunk problem

I've only done SIP trunking once myself so I can't provide much help, only to say I had this same problem initially. Outgoing calls fine but incoming failed. All I found I was missing was entering all the DIDs coming down the SIP trunks in the "SIP Peer Profile Assignment By Incoming DID"...

Mitel UC Server 6.0 and 3300

Its seems as though on UCA 6.0 you need to have the mobile sip softphone license if you want to use the softphone on your mobile device. Also when you enable the mobile sip softphone licenses, go to your desktop configuration and under softphone check off that it is used on multiple devices...

Mitel 3300 w/ Embedded VM - 2 Company - separate night greeting control

Yeah. Day mode the AA is backup. I guess the day message can say dial 0 for immediate assistance otherwise stay on line to leave message. Genius. Thanks.

Mitel 3300 w/ Embedded VM - 2 Company - separate night greeting control

Yeah. I don't think standard mailboxes can time out to an attendant. Unless you know a way. If not, no worries though. Can't cover every angle. If they really want to they can go nupoint. Thanks again.

Display dialed (Called) 800 number on inbound calls for accurate receptionist greeting

I think a kwbMitel original idea of a ring group would work with a slight tweak. To get the night control to work, create a phantom analog / virtual / trusted IP device (depending on software level). Whatever you want to call it. Eg. Ext 600. Point the DID to ring to that extension. In day...

Mitel 3300 w/ Embedded VM - 2 Company - separate night greeting control

Yeah. I've done it the menu node way before. Not a huge fan of it. Exact reasons you questioned. Just hoping maybe I was just missing something using this setup. Pros and cons each way I guess. Thanks for the input.
