Hi,

I have a problem with proper configuration of sip trunk in Mitel MXe III. I have a user account from service provider with 20 DIDs assigned. MXe III is properly registered and I can establish outgoing call. The problem is with an incoming traffic. In INVITE message coming from service provider dialed number (one of 20 DIDs) is located in “To Header” field instead of "Request-URI". In "Request-URI" comes authentication username "nafa009". It looks that Mitel cannot obtain this number from “To Header” field and it's necessary to use all 20 DIDs. I tried to turn on option "Route call using to header" but it not works. Service provider's PBX is an Asterisk. Could you help me to set MXE III to cooperate with this kind of signaling?

Regards,
Piotr

I've only done SIP trunking once myself so I can't provide much help, only to say I had this same problem initially. Outgoing calls fine but incoming failed. All I found I was missing was entering all the DIDs coming down the SIP trunks in the "SIP Peer Profile Assignment By Incoming DID" form. As soon as I did that incoming calls worked fine. Hope this help.

There not a knowledge base article to connect an Asterisk to a 3300 via SIP?

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
