Your one guy might be onto something. If your outbound caller ID number is on VZN and the call is going out over AT+T, then it may be getting blocked via the STIR/SHAKEN mess. The only real way to find out is to get an AT&T tech to trace the failed outbound calls and see what's causing the...
I can't vouch for their SIP service, but I've had Granite as a provider for POTS lines. They are a reseller and my experience with them was less than stellar.

We have such a use case where I work. We have agents that conference doctors together to talk about patients. They can be rather long-winded conversations. Keeping the agent on the line can tie them up for a long time. Giving the ability of the agent to drop out of the call and let the doctors...
If I'm following correctly, you need to add CFNR and a destination (call forward on no reply).

It's likely a patch file that's required to bring you up to the current version. I'm not running V10, but the patch files should be on the server in the NetSetup shared folder.
Example: OSCC90R3FR02Client.msp upgrades to V9R3.2
OSCC90R3FR02HF002Client.msp upgrades to V9R3.2.2

It sounds like it may be a license mismatch. Was the design database built on the same server as the production one? Just a wild guess here!

You should do the factory reset after the HFA installation completes. The factory reset cleans out everything from memory, in case there are remnants of the SIP software. I'm not sure if it's 100% required, but it's a good practice.
You don't need to do a factory reset if upgrading SIP to SIP...
I'm not a Cisco tech either, but I've installed a few 8180's, but not using zones. Are you using multiple Algo 8180's? It's possible to set each 8180 to have it's own SIP extension. They add a lot of features with every firmware update, so make sure they're up to date as well. Algo support may...
Here's an alternative that might work for you.... Viking Electronics makes a "panic button" that also just happens to have 2-way audio, so may be able to use this as a door phone/intercom. This is the IP version: https://vikingelectronics.com/products/pb-3-ip/. It's around $380, connects as a...
It looks like they're just going straight to the extension without hitting the DNIT tables. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction and end up breaking something. I don't know exactly how to set the DNIT tables up, perhaps someone with some engineering experience can chime in here? Once...
Right... so in order to do it this way, you'd have to build those tables. Likely something the vendor doesn't want to do or they just don't know how. You have to be careful in cases like this, as the relationship with your support folks is on the line. I'd present the idea to them as a...
In our system, we had all of the inbound DNIS digits on the GDTR, 129 table. The 4-digit DNIS is under DGTSTR.

In our system, we had all inbound in a DNIT-DNI table, then pointed to an INTRTDN which went to the extension. Sounds like you're not using the DNIT table at all and just having the inbound go straight to the extension. So in your current configuration, they're right, but it can be fixed without...
The 4000 doesn't really care that the area code and exchange are different. If the telco is only sending the last 4 digits, then that's all you will get on the new DID block. As long as none of your DID blocks overlap, you're good to go.
If you're going to grow significantly in the future, it...
If you understand the basics of computers and telephones, it should not be difficult for you. The courses in Unify Academy range from very basic (how to use a telephone) to actual repair of systems. A basic administration course should be only a week or two. They have a lot of self-paces courses...
