Hi...
I remember I had a similar problem with several 3Com components once at work. The problem was that all components were set on "autodetect" (this bandwith/duplex thingy.. 10Mbit/s, 100Mbit/s, half/full duplex etc.).
So all components tried to detect the bandwith/duplex mode and...
I just took another Router and it probably had another software version.
Since we hadn't any of the manuals/documentations for this routers anymore (I don't know who trashed them but someone did I guess) I didn't want to mess this thing up.
Anyways the software version the other router had...
Maybe look in the winamp output-preferences and configure the WaveOut-Plugin that is used in winamp.
You can select there wich device should be used for playback. It is possible that this option is set to a software playback device wich is commonly bad if you don't have an old SB Pro or...
I used to make bootdisks with the norton ghost bootdisk wizard and then alter it a bit...
It works pretty good.... I never had any problems with it...
You may try http://www.bootdisk.com/ also...
I know someone who had the same problem. Since he removed XP and installed 98SE again it was solved.
That doesn't mean that any other OS won't run. I'd try what cdogg said if you're going to install the OS again and format the harddrive before if you haven't did that already as you installed XP.
I had pretty good results using the Creative Sounblaster Platinum 5.1 with this livedrive thingy.
I'ts kinda expensive but in some tests it even beats a Creamware Pulsar II.
The CoolEdit audio cleanup plugin is pretty good yeah...
I noticed that the sound becomes a bit more...
Hmmm this thread is pretty old ...anyway...
There's a variant of 100BaseT called 100Base-T4 wich allows to get about 100 Mbit/s over a CAT 3 cable. It uses all 4 twisted pairs. It is a bit more complex to describe it here I guess....at least because I don't know all the words I have to use in...
I heard of this before and I think that this FTP Server looks at your IP address or resolves at least your hostname that you get on this dialup connection and decides then if it permits the login.
The email servers from my ISP work similar to this. You only can receive your emails if you're...
Ummm....i might got that wrong..
You might try a usual ftp client like LeechFTP, SmartFTP or FlashFXP.
I prefer LeechFTP as client because it's easy to use, has everything I need and doesn't eat much system resources.
And it's freeware...
Hi,
I have a problem with the 3Com Superstack II Netbuilder 3C8227C.
I tried to set the routing mode to IP-Only but I always get an error message when I want to set control to "route" or when I try to set an IP address.
The messages look like this:
Cannot set Control to Route when...
I looked at the Abit site and they say that BIOS Updates for BH6 Boards rev. 1.0 are still tested. They also say that the Update will be released soon.
If you have the BH6 rev. 1.1 then you can download a BIOS Update already. If you don't know wich rev. you have you might take a look in the...
