Help a newb. w/ FTP?

I was wondering if anyone could help with any info on FTP-ing things about - at the minute, I use fput or fget & then have to sit there for a few hundred files pressing 'y' and Enter.
If there is a way around this, and any other info you might deem useful, please... Help!

Ummm....i might got that wrong..

You might try a usual ftp client like LeechFTP, SmartFTP or FlashFXP.

I prefer LeechFTP as client because it's easy to use, has everything I need and doesn't eat much system resources.

And it's freeware.
