Ah I just got it. Disabling Media Bypass in trunk configuration (in SFB). All is working as expected now.

Just an update..
If I put the speedcall number into the SIP peer profile assignment by incoming DID (Incoming DID range), I can dial the speedcall number and get out via the PSTN just fine. I'm assuming this means I don't need a device between SFB-MiVB.

SFB--siptrunk---MiVB--trunk to carrier - This is correct. Trunk to carrier is also SIP.
MIVB Rel 7.1 PR1. COR on trunk allows for outgoing calls (same COR as trunk to Carrier - is this correct?)
I can get a packet capture between SFB-MIVB first thing in the morning.

Hi all,
Any insight here is most definitely appreciated.
I've integrated SFB/Lync 2013 and Mitel via direct SIP which works great. I can dial between SFB/Lync clients (that are configured for enterprise voice) and Mitel extensions no problem at all. My problem is I cannot dial out via my...
Sarond you're a legend thank you - I am up and running.
It appears as though I needed to configure a proxy in the network element assignment form (it's covered in the KB 10-4940-00129 'Configure MCD 4.1 for use with Engin SIP Trunking Service Provider').
The FQDN's have changed a few times...
I've triple checked the credentials in SIP peer profile and all appears to be correct. Although - I have not seen the kb sarond has posted (perhaps there is something I have missed). Sarond would you have a copy of that kb you could post?

I'm trying to configure SIP trunks with the Australian ISP 'Engin'. This is proving a little more difficult than expected.. I have SIP trunks to iiNet working just fine and I can dial out and receive calls no problem at all. Engin SIP trunks don't seem to be working for me.
When I run the...

Hey mate,
I am actually using HP controllers (I've used 2x different HP controllers with the 8440 Spectralink handsets)and am using WPA-PSK security. With reg domain 1 I am assuming you're in North America?
I note you say you're walking around in idle mode and testing the roam.. What do you...
Have spent a bit of time getting these 8440/8441's to play nice with Wi-Fi. WPA2-Ent required the use of certificates and this did not fix any roaming issues for us. Can I ask what regulatory domain you have your phones in, and what channels you're using on 5GHz? -89dB is definitely too low to...
Depends what the alarm is?? The alarms should clear if the issue is no longer present.. So if they're still there you need to action it

Hey,
You could FTP to the controller and delete other MOH files that aren't being used (the directory should be /db/emoh)

Hi all,
Just a quick one.. Anyone know if there is a limit on the number of parties for internal conference calls on 3300's?
