Hi all,
Any insight here is most definitely appreciated.
I've integrated SFB/Lync 2013 and Mitel via direct SIP which works great. I can dial between SFB/Lync clients (that are configured for enterprise voice) and Mitel extensions no problem at all. My problem is I cannot dial out via my SIP trunks on the PBX from Lync clients. I have dialing rules in lync that 'normalize' my dialed number to prefix with my external access number (which in this case is '0').
In Lync client:
Dial 0401 234 567
Normalized number: 00401234567
I can dial the normalized number from a Mitel extension and get through just fine, but I cannot dial this from Lync. Am I missing something? I have called a Mitel contact of mine who tells me that I need a SIP gateway between PBX and SFB/Lync. Is there any truth to this?
Furthermore, I have created a speedcall in the mitel DID range (29XX - as I know the dialing rules for 29XX are correct) and set this to an external mobile number and still cannot get out.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know!
Thanks!
Don't confuse DTMF with DTF. They have very different meanings....
