Hello,

I am using IPO 406 version 4.2 and VCM PRO version is 4.2 the costumer is using voicemail for call center. But now for the last 1 month daily service/file called: VMPROv5svc.exe is stoping the computer( the usage of computer is 100%)and voicemail at the level stops working. After i maunaly re-start all the services regarded to VCMPRO it starts to work fine again. But after a while all written above appears again. Any solutions reccomended?

The OS on the Voicemail server was freshly installed. The OS is Windows XP pro. IF you have any questions please ask.

TNX,

Regards

Is the VMPROv5svc.exe running as LOCAL Account?
Click on the properties of the service, try to change it to LOCAL.

Befor it was running as service. Now interact with the desktop is checked. But the outcome is still the same - degredation of the Voicemail.

Did the server do any automatic updates lately ?

There is no antivirus installed now. Only windows defuolt firewall

After having problems, did you gave the VMPRo server a complete reboot not just the services?

Yes we have done it not allways but yes we did. And it is appearing again not in the same time

Check the "Windows Event Viewer" and try to run dgbview.

You're not (or someone else) is using remote desktop on that server?!!

Don't, Use RealVNC or use lcick Start > Run > mstsc -console

If you do a doub;le session then it could cause strange things.

I am experiencing the same issues. I have used RDP with it however I tested without the RDP use to see what the deal was with it.

RDP only allows one client at a time to use the computer so it's near impossible to have multiple users on one said system.

Regardless, from what I have determined is that it's the VM Client timing out. So if you had been working on your voicemail and you walk away it would normally timeout. Now it decides to crash the service. You can't even restart it and it requires a full system reboot. I just put a ticket in with Avaya regarding this issue as it is something new.

So don't think your going crazy because I have seen this on two seperate systems now that were working perfectly for months until this update.
