I was at the mall the other day. Driving into the parking lot was a BMW with "BONEDR" on the license plate. I made the assumption that the driver was a chiropractor or an orthopedist. I saw the driver in the mall and asked him his specialty. He stated matter-of-factly without a flinch or a smile: "I am a urologist."
It occurred to me about five minutes later what the plate meant.

As a circle of light increases so does the circumference of darkness around it. - Albert Einstein
A few vanity plates I noticed on a car trip last week:
SPN2WIN on a Jeep
BRENA EV on a Suburban
DOCDIVA on a Tahoe
SNOWOLF on an S-10 type small truck
NENA J on a Hummer
and YOGI 06 on an early 90s car I didn't recognize.
I honestly have no clue what they meant by SPN2WIN, I just happened to see it. They are all plates in Michigan.
The DOCDIVA is actually one I have seen many times as the person works somewhere in the same building I do. That person has cut me off several times ...
Oh, and, though it wasn't a license plate, I think this is close enough to being on topic....
Also on the way home today I passed a Ford Festiva. It didn't appear to be in particularly good shape, and it has to be at least 15 years old (I just looked at the production years on wikipedia). In the back window was a "for sale" sign. They are asking $3500.
That struck me as VERY funny.

Maybe they just omitted the decimal place after the 5
