I was driving behind a Honda this morning with a very clever vanity plate. It had the letters LI, followed by the cent symbol, then finished with PL8.

Have you seen any creative vanity plates lately?

Just noticed right outside the window on a VW Bug, HERBIE.
Brings back some childhood memories seeing that.

My first thought was Meth Head as spoken by someone on meth:

Saw a cute one yesterday. Here in California we can have a number of special symbols, one of which is a star. I'll use an asterisk for the star...

I could only presume a fisherman: WLEYE
Also saw: AXLE
There was a 2nd one I saw between those two this morning, but I forgot it.

Saw this on a Volvo today...

YANKER

Not quite sure what to make of it. I can think of several meanings, none of which I would put on a license plate.

I saw OGRE yesterday. Yeah that's someone I want to make into my friend or hire as a new employee.

Maybe SHREK was already taken? [ponder]

I saw TERMN8R on the way home on Wednesday.
Would have posted it yesterday but I was at court being a possible juror. What fun that was. But I am not a juror, so my work time is saved!

Think that is among the cooler license plates I have seen too.

Barely had time to catch the plate the Civic went by me so fast.

SamBones,

You are correct for CRVTNUT. It used to be on an old 1968 Chevy Malibu. It now rests on a 1963 Corvette.

On a yellow newer Monte carlo:
TWEETTY
Funny enough, there was a tweety bird sticker on the bumper as well.

I was watching "Con Air" (again) on TV over the weekend. The 1963 Corvette that John Cusack "borrows" had a license plate that read "AZZ KIKR

Oops...I believe it was a 1967 Corvette, not a 1963. Either way, it was a sweet ride.

My old license plate (when I was single): BRK HSE (Think Commodores)

My new one (grown up and moved from my home state): TECHSUN

And apologies to Higgins if I've blown past you!! I've seen the exact same DUKE.EDU plate as well! [auto]
