Failing to meet any expectations, real or imagined, I wish I could have attended!! FWIW, the test I've been studying for is tonight. I better get an A or I'll be regretting not having a beer in Richmond!

I think we should have a true mid-Atlantic meet next time. Estimating halfway between Maine and Florida, I'd say Raleigh would be a great meeting place. We'll just invite everyone on the east coast. :)

Anyone notice how the one that seemed to meet most people's expectations is also the only one that's really in focus? I'm sure that must mean something.

May be, but I was also the only one with a huge red-eye problem. :-(

Next time we'll have to be standing outside on a bright sunny day for the camera to work right. It has problems focusing in low-light conditions.

You should have used the plural form of the phrase. "A" beer went by pretty quickly, followed by "Some" more beer. Waitress Charlotte was amazed at how well the Tek-Tippers held their alcohol.

Yes, on my final paper about this meet, the plural form of beer (as in "a boatload of beer") will probably be more appropriate than the singular form ("a beer for the lightweight").

Now to figure out where the commas go....

I definitely would have messed up that statistic! I'm the world's biggest lightweight when it comes to beer.

Dollie: we would have covered for you.

I'd also like to point out that the pizza laying on the tray and the plates (not counting the crusts) was NOT left over. We took a short break from eating and drinking for the photo-op. By the time we were done all the pizza was gone and (at least) one of the restaurant's beer kegs was empty.

John,

You mentioned "Firefox" or maybe "Foxfire" at 'Geekfest05.' I really, really need a secure ISP connection. How do I get it?

Also: what's the best way to get Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Thanks for all your help!

Tim
