Connection refused

I want to connect to OS4K with ComWin directly, but the "Connection refused" error is appears. How I can solve this issue?

What is your IP address ?

Are you automatically sending in a username/password ?

Is the OS4K routable from your PC?
Is your PC's IP address in the allowed firewall rules on the OS4K?

Web Browse first that will add your ip-address into the firewall

I add the IP address and it solved. But I change root password, How I can reset root password to hicom?

Set your IP address to be 192.0.2.100 / 255.255.255.0 no gateway
Plug into the Atlantic LAN or Service LAN port

Firewall rules are accessed via Assistant -> Base Administration -> Webmin

The problem was solved. But I change the root password, How I can reset root password to hicom or disable complexity check of rmx pass?

Note in CAPITALS...

To see the users: DIS-USER;
To change a password: PASSWD:USERNAME;


Further can be done in Start menu - HiPath 4000 Expert Access / Security Settings
