IF the calls are working from 4K to X8. then the trunk and channels must be up.
THerefore it is not a protocol issue.

If the X8 definitely routing the calls correctly?
My gut instinct would be routing issue, either the incorrect digits are being received or the calls are not going via the correct trunk.
What traces / logs do you have?

hi dear Thepfy
I disabled the LCR tick.
I defined the access code, I get a number from X8, the LED of the E1 card flashes on both devices, but 4000 does not ring. show busy on the X8 phone.
Do I have to define DID in 4000?
Please tell me how I should do this.
best regards

hello everybody
please help me about this problem .thank you for your advance .
how shall I setting incoming call in 4000 v10.
I don't have any problem incoming call in Hipath 4000 V7 .I only have this problem in Openscape 4000
best regards

The Extensions that are on the X8 have to be added to the V10
A route (CD RICHT) should be setup to allow dialling from the V10 to the X8

Hi Dear sbcsu
thank you for your answer My question.
call from V10 to X8 are Ok but from X8 to 4000 not ok.
License,LCR,Date, and setting in X8 are ok .V10 License is on Grace period too.
thanks a lot

The RDS trace from the 4K would be more use here, because it would show exactly what digits the 4K has received. You could try that but I think on V10 R0 RDS had problems, it might not work properly.
Looks like you get a CALL PROC but there is no ALERT. 4K thinks it has enough digits to start processing but then can't, it finds nothing it can ring with the digits it has.

Either you are sending the wrong digits from OSBiz, or you send the correct digits but you have not added them properly in WABE on the 4K.

Protvar "ETSI" is a strange choice for networking to X8, I would have expected ECMAV2 segment 8, i.e full QSIG both sides. But ETSI will work, at least I would not expect it to cause this problem you have now.

By default, for a CO-call, OSBiz sends the trunk code
to the line (echoall - E1A). There may be a problem here.

Hello Dear Moriendi .nice to meet you .this is my rout setting .only i have problem call from X8 to 4000 .When I dial 4000 from x8, both DIUN2 cards flash, but the phone does not ring on 4000.

Hello dear Masviss
I defined the LCR as E2A in X8,Contact with all Siemens devices is established:
I have this problem with the 4K V10
E1 4k v7 with Hipath 3800 calls are Ok
E1 4k v7 with Hipath 3550 calls are Ok
E1 4k v7 with Hipath X8 calls are Ok
E1 4k v10 with Hipath X8 calls are Not Ok. only call from 4k V10 to X8 is Ok

all of system 3550, 3800 and X8 systems with 4K V10 have this problem as well.
Only connection is established from the 4k v10 side

In your original ADD-TDCSU line you have no digit prefix (DGTPR). In the 2nd one, you have a DGTPR of 4000. Is that right? You want to prefix all calls with 4000? And you have a WABE added for STN 4000 but is it added?

Like I said, you are not sending digits to the 4K that it can use, and don't forget you are now putting 4000 on the front of every incoming call, which does not sound right.

There is no V10 problem here. There is an Asghar configuration problem.

Is the phone 4000 plugged into the port?
Please show

The dial the number on OSBiz and show

without handset down on OSBiz.
How many subscriber numbers
have you programmed for OS4K?
4000&&4999?

Dear Masviss
Because it was not possible to call 4k subscribers,
I set the DGTPR trunk destination to test 4000, but the 4000 phone does not ring.

I have a question, please help me.
For communication between users of devices
4K V10 with X8 should be in my 4k DID or node number (KNDEF)
Describe ?
thanks a lot

Kndef is usually configured but doesn’t have to be. If this is your problem depends on what digits are coming in.

V10 is always tracing. You can download the files from Assistant, expert mode, permanent logging. Post a trace.
