After upgrading a rather large Server Edition customer (14 sites) to 9.1 am getting error in manager that states "No more than 300 Hunt Groups are allowed in a Non-IP Office Select Solution" (see attachment). The fact is I have only 42. Also my incoming call routes have replicated to every site and manager will not allow my to reconsolidate like it used to. So now I have over 1900 incoming call routes! Anyone know a work around for this? I've got a customer who can't make any config changes in Manager, and there are tons of issues with Web Manager that make it almost unusable as well.

You really should have held off that big of an upgrade until 9.1 was at least in it's 2nd maint release (True of any version). Avaya beta testing is at an all time low in terms of quality of the released product. You are effectively Beta testing 9.1 right now and have found 2 of the bugs that should have been fixed before release, you will need to wait for a fix I think :)

Although I agree with that statement it doesn't really help me. I upgraded to solve an ongoing delayed MWI light problem (which by the way is working now). Please only reply if you have something helpful to add.

I can add something helpful:

Log a ticket with Avaya on you IPOSS contract
This is obviously a Manager bug that you are not going to be able to workaround.

Andy was just giving his opinion (formed over a number of years in the game and on here). Don't shoot him down for it, when in fact you are on the wrong site to get this fixed.

Not sure I would fancy a GA version on a 14 site customer either, unless forced. (which you may have been for your MWI)

I have observed the same feature. You're not insane.
The answer I got is: All of the units should be on the same build.
Here's a screenshot.

Also a bomb technician.
If you see me running, try and keep up.

For now login to the webmanager.
Delete the duplicated incoming call routes from there and try manager again.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hello,

I got today from support the solution.

There is a critical Patch for IP Office Manager 9.1.0.0 build 437. It will replace the existing version with 9.1.0.6 build 1.

You can contact support if you need it.

Hello All,

you will need for IP Office Manager 9.1.0.0 build 437 the following version of the pathc 9.1.0.6 build 2.

I got the second one (Build 2) from Support as the first did not fix the issue.

I got the patch from Avaya support yesterday. But they told me it will part in Manager not before SP3... So no updates to solve some (undocumented?) issues so far.

So be aware not to update from 9.1.0 up to 9.1.1 blindly or from any 9.0 release up to 9.1.1. Yo u will not be able to manage your system.

So, you're saying Avaya is sitting on a patch, but refrain from making it publicly accessible?

That's pathetic.

Kind regards

Gunnar

They just did not put it in the current SP and also not in the next SP in May.
Avaya is just totally not understanding that you need customers to exist.
How hard can it be to put this in a SP without taking 6 months??????

The never make such patches available... Don't understand why...

I don't understand why they dont make another patch for 9.1.1 as soon as it is released.

Take a look at the files in R9.1 SP1, they're 20+ days old at release date.
3 weeks to check that they got 3 bug fixes right?

Tech room: Ahh, finally, the R9.1 SP1!
(10 minutes later)
Tech 1: There are shotgun hails in the DVD's! Someone fired at the pigeon?
Tech 2: No big deal, probably just hit the Help-section, launch it!
Tech 1: Shouldn't we ask for new copies?
Tech 2: You ask them to return the pigeon then.
Tech 1: Launch pad? Yeah, uh, can you make another run for that DVD? Ah-huh, you bbq'ed the pigeon? *sigh*
Tech 2: Launch the damn thing!

Kind regards

Gunnar

I think you could do standup comedy quite well.
Give it a try and you tube it.

Nice to have something to fall back on in case I start sucking at this Avaya thing we're doing :)

I have a patch for contact store pending to be included in 9.0.7.
However the site must submit a good enough reason before they will write a patch for the current installed release.
So there is that..

Not.like.it.used.to.be.

Had the same issue. Build 2 allows me to make changes to IP Office but having an issue with ICR's. My ICR's don't show up at the solution level they only show up at the Primary IPO level. Going to try to export from Primary and import to solution
