    Call Transfer and COR's

I did not know that. Thanks for the tip. I did get the Tenant File loaded last night and separated the locations, so that is all working now. The COR thing really bugs me. I even had one station tell me they could not call another with a different COR (12 to 3)??? Very bizarre, and I know...

    Call Transfer and COR's

OK, I have a G350/S8300 system with a G250 as a registered Gateway. I have phones on separate Network regions for the LSP functionality, and all is great. Now the main site just got Music on hold, and since I do not have tenant partitioning on (yet), I created a set of mirrored CORs so I can...

    Using Do Not Call Registry

None that I am aware of, but keep in mind this registry is for Residential lines only. Business lines are not eligible for DNC lists. I think that might be why there is no way to do this, since a resident usually only has a few lines to enter. Hope this helps, Scott

CLID figth between me and the LEC

I did some testing with this, and I am NOT sending anything. I can verify this using letman2 suggestion. Here is what I get when I dial out using a modem 8701 that has no ISDN public entry: LIST TRACE time data 07:12:43 tone-receiver...

CLID figth between me and the LEC

I have tried that, but with the older switches connected to it, I have 3, 4 and 7 digits that come across tie lines and then use these PRI's I get access codes and all sorts of stuff to my PBX becasue of the older dialing structure, and it seems the 4 digits do not pass across the tie lines...

How to display my name or my company's name when dialing outside calls

Just as a additional tip, if you have multiple LEC's, you will need to talk with each of them. We recently added DID service, and the new range worked for the main LEC, but the CLEC, who use a different CPN database, had to do updated to get the names correct. If they do not have an entry for...

CLID figth between me and the LEC

I have 2 PRI's that we are planning to change the main number for my office to one of our DID's, as opposed the the old number. I have asked my LEC to change the "default" or BTN on the PRI's to this new number, and the swear they have. The old line is 303-430-2400, and the new is...

    Operator calls to another location

Matt, Thanks for the suggestion. I actually did something similar; in that I created a VDN that points to a vector that routes to a 4 digit number in my aar table, which then points to 0 on my end. The issue with the aar is you cannot strip all 4 digits of a 4 digit extension. I can strip 3...

    Operator calls to another location

OK, I was not clear on my first post, as I meant the internal operator. We have a console operator here at the main site, and another site connected via IP trunks does not have IAS, and I just want them to be able to press 0 and get the operator (console) at the main site. Since I have to use...

    Operator calls to another location

I have multiple sites, and would like to set it up so users can dial 0 and reach our operator at another location. I know if I had IAS, this would be easy, but it is not turned on in the new switch. I have tried everything from adding a VDN in the console parameters to an X port console, and...

Cisco VLan Implementation on Avaya IP Phone /PC

Your PC Vlan should be your native Vlan and the Avaya should be the secondary vlan. PC's cannot discern vlan tagging, and the switch in the Avaya phone is made to pass non-tagged vlan traffic to the PC port. The configs above show it, as access for the PC's and voice for the Avaya vlan. In...

    Analog Ports Unreliable

I can think of two things you can try. On the IP-codec-set for the PBX, make sure G-711 is an option, and then on the second page, make sure Modem is set relay. Modem communications over IP is not that reliable, but many times can work. If relay does not work, you can always try pass-thru...

    CLID outbound from secondary PBX

OK, I have just received my DID block from the LEC, and I am wanting to send CLID outbound from all my sites. I have 8 PBX's, ranging from a G3R, to a couple of S8300's/G350's. At the main site where my PRI's terminate, I can send whatever CLID/CPN data I want, but if a call originates from...

    Cannot remove data module??

OK, for some reason this time when I did a busy out of the data module, then set the enable field to n, it took. I swear I did this several times on Monday, with no luck. Thanks for all the suggestions and tips. Regardless of what it was, it is gone now. Thanks. Scott

    Cannot remove data module??

When I try that the system tells me I must disable the communication link associated with this channel. When I try to disable the link (4), I am told I have to do it at the data module screen. When I try to disable it at the data module screen, (see post #1)... I feel like I am running in...

    Cannot remove data module??

I already tried that, but that is when I get the "Link number must be the same as the physical channel number" error code. The system will not let me set it to no, because for some reason it thinks the link and physical channel are not the same. I have tried to change the link number and...

    Cannot remove data module??

OK, I have read through all the data module threads I could find before posting this, but I could not see any reason for my issue. I have a G3R, software version 12i.01.1.414.1. I know I need to disable the link associated with the data module, and I believe this must be done via the change...
