    why not get the ip from puter B, then on puter A just goto Start > Run > \\192.168.0.2\c$ (or whatever ip it is) easier to copy files that way surely. To get the ip of puter B, Start > Run > cmd (if XP/2k/nt) or command (if 98). then type ipconfig ta da! hope this helps

    just to add to this.. i tries FDISK to no avail too... then.... ive managed to get the system up and running by formatting the partitions etc with an XP pro CD. then doing exactly the sam ewith the NT CD.. hardly a fix. but make it less urgent i suppose.
