Hi
A problem that persists when connecting all modern laptops to a fortgate 300A.(Latest firmware)
The laptops after a while freeze up. I presume when there are many connections ??
Laptops that freeze
Lenova X60
Fujitzu Siemens 8110
HP (New Serries Duo Centrino)
All these laptops share...
with Laptops logging into the Domain using Wireless I have had a problem
XP Pro SP2
Registry setting added
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\DependOnService\-----WZCSVC
Windows controls wireless / no 3rd party software
I need the Wireless to start before the user...
If you are updating databases I would stay clear away from terminal services. major problem is when working on a job..eg database migration or update..if you loose your connection your job will hang. There are also some stuff you cannot do whilst using a terminal session.
PC Anywhere or VNC
Did some surfing in google for your problem
Came to the conclusion that you should post this in another forum, perhaps something to do with C++
I came up with compiling errors...DLL Problems in scrpting ect..
Cheers
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanManServer\Parameters
new entries
Value Name : OptionalNam
Data Type : REG_MULTI_SZ
Try that but make a back up first please
Cheers
