Hello

I've got a problem with our new work Windows 2003 VPN server. Basically, it's being very sporadic in how and when it lets you in, and we've done all we can think of to fix it with no luck.

When someone trys to VPN in, most often they get a 781 error message about there being no certificate. If they then try again, they get a 721 'Not Responding' message, but if they try again for a third time it works !!

Very strange - does anyone have any ideas as to why this may be ? (the VPN server is in the built-in RAS group).

Thanks in advance

Neil

Hi

what if you start pinging the server before the trying to log on?

Are the results different?
