hi, how much files can windows handle in the single folder? thanks

I dont think that there are any limitations...How big does your folder need to be?

I don't know if this helps, but I have numerous folders on my server- all exceeding 5000 files/3.5gigs... and still pushing it.

My server has folders exceeding 5000 files each, and folder sizes exceeding 4 gigs each. No problems, still pushing it.

hello

there is no limit on the number of files a folder can hold (thats based on your hard drive space)

How deep a folder director can go is limited to 255 folders deep

thats C;\Folder\folder1\folder2\folder3\ ect.....
