I am having a problem with a Windows 2000 sever and some Zebra Z4M label printers. The problem is that only one of the 2 printers setup will print at a time. Example, if you have 100 documents queued up in both printers, printer 1 will print and printer 2 will keep erroring until printer 1 has finished printing all 100 documents. Printer 2 will then print its documents and printer 1 will not be able to print until printer 2 is finished. The printers are connected via seperate JetDirect boxes using a Standard TCP/IP Port in Windows. The JetDirect boxes are single port boxes. The printers were previously conected to a single Lantronics multiport print server but the same thing was happening. I have have tried different drivers but cannot resolve the problem. The driver I am using now is the Zebra 5.0.0.5. I have also tried using a Seagull Scientific driver version 6.6.2, but I have a different problem then. When I change any of the printer properties, I get an error that the Operation could not be completed and then have to stop and restart the Print Spooler service. As far as HDD space, ther is over 6GB free.
I am thinking it is a Windows problem, but cannot seam to be able to resolve it. Any ideas are greatly apprieciated.
Please help.
Thanks John.
