Sounds like a problem with message formatting. Do you have a newer version of outlook to test to see if it solves the problem?

How about looking in the security of the my documents folder? are you on a network or home pc?

It's due to the formatting... if you're on html formatting (tools, options, mail format) then the attachment normally shows as an icon in the email. If you're on rich or plain text then it shows under the subject line. Not sure why this is a problem though as at the end of the day it's still...
