I want to change a DCH from USR to NET, but in LD17 the prompt SIDE doesn't come up.
What mnemonic do I have to enter to make the SIDE prompt to appear?
This is an ageing CS1000M v7.6 After a power failure and reboot, it lost connection to 2 sites both in the same Dual PRI card. After some reseting of one of the loops it recovered, but the other refuses to link. The "remote" system is 15 feet away connected with a factory issue db15-BNC cable...
I have a 6509 acting as a distribution switch, one of the downliks is an old FO to a small site which every now and then has a small interruption that cause the whole network to recalculate the spanning tree, so I disabled stp on the access switch (Yeah I know cisco blasphemy) and set the link...
I am trying to diagnose an MGC card (CS100E linux). At the oam> prompt Does the command dsphwcheck have any negative impact on the system (reset, downtime, etc)?
Not exactly, but with the CLS prompt, You could prevent the sets from seeing ANY calling number and still see names, not very practical.
CNDA (CNDD) Allow (deny) user names to be displayed on this phone.
DNDA (DNDD) Allow (deny) display on this phone of the originally dialed phone’s name on...
Thanks for your answer.
I think I did't explain correctly. That output I got it by tracking a PRI in LD 80 TRAD loop ch. I want to know in which LD can I change the programming (CDP,RLI,I don't know) so when I trace a call it says "TON :ABBREVIATED ESN:CDP" instead of UNKNOWN. This is related to...
Good Morning every1
In what LD do I change this:?
CALL REF # = 17289
BEARER CAP = VOICE
HLC =
CALL STATE = 10 ACTIVE
CALLING NO = 78011 NUM_PLAN:UNKNOWN TON:UNKNOWN ESN:UNKNOWN
CALLED NO = 89178440 NUM_PLAN:UNKNOWN TON:UNKNOWN ESN:UNKNOWN
---- ISDN PRA CALL...
Thank You for Your replies. The system is a CS1000M v5.5 (upgraded from an op81C) the link is E1. The thing is that I don´t need to fix the slips at the moment, I just want to know if an increase in traffic will increase the slips and in consecuence take down the link.
I have a PRI E1 link with slips that don't cause it to go down, they are kind of "normal" as it has been like that for some years. It is the backup link and it handles mostly incoming calls, but now I want it to be the main link. Would an increase in the number of calls increase the slips and...
I want to do a local Loopback test on a PRI2 , is it enough to interconnect the Tx BNC connnector to the Rx? or is it necessary to set it in loopback mode at LD 96? I know it won't go up since it can't be user/net at the same time. What result should I expect as succesful?
It is apparently solved, but I'm not sure what was the issue. After checking step by step all the programming I disabled both units, and disabled/enabled the msdl with the FDL option. After that I enabled both trunks. The first one connected to the remote site in seconds, trunk 1 enabled just...
Hi
DCH 002 : OPER AEST AUTO DES : cisco means it is "waiting for establishment" of the link (AEST), the OOS is out of service and the juicy part is the LOS alarm wich means "loss of signal", that in turn means that the electrical interface is not receiving signal from the other side. that's why...
