Came in too the office this morning. Phone had no dial tone. Pulled the plug to reset and now nothing. Blank sets. Plugged a laptop in and watched the boot sequence via hyperterminal. Seems to go ok but eventually stops at:

Normally when we call LD we dial 9 + 1-860-555-5555 . Now we are required to dial the area code (but no 1) to make local calls:
For example: 9 + 860-555-5555 .
Problem is the system cuts off the l last digit of the number and tries to dial. Which form do I need to edit to fix this?

The boss wants 2 phone in his office so he can answer the phone wherever he is sitting (huge office). What is the best way to go about setting up 2 sets to match? I don't think form 9 will allow setting up the same extension on 2 phones. I tried setting up the 2nd phone with its own extension...
I have 2 sets that will not go right into voicemail when DND is active. The FWD If BUSY and FWD NO ANS are set to go to VM just like the working sets. The COS is set the same as the working sets as well. Any advice? What could I be missing? Thank You!

I programmed a relaese button and went through the steps. Still doesn't work:
Call answered
Transfer button pressed
Outbound call dialed
Press call release button
Nothing happens. Call will not release!!
Help please!
I guess the question is then. How do I release the call?
These are the steps I go through:
1)Call answered
2)Transfer button pressed
3)Outbound call dialed on second line
4)Call release (what button do I press?? Cancel?)

I checked form 3. I do not see an option for Trunk to trunk conferencing.
I checked Form 30. Everything is marked with an "*". Is there something else I need to check?

I have a remote office that just found a new afterhours answering service company I now need to change where the calls go when they enable night answer. I have access to the swtich via telnet. Where do I go to change the forwarding phone number? Thank You
