    No Net Command

Lately, I've seen several computers that won't map network drives because the net command is "missing". I've checked the path (winnt\system32\net.exe) and it's just not there. Could it be due to a MS patch? Just too many computers to be a coincidence.

    Net Command

It appears to have been deleted. When I type "net" at the command prompt it says it is not recognized as an internal or external command. The weird thing is that when I copied the file to a floppy, it did not show up one of the affected pc's even though it shows the space being taken up by the...

I have several Windows 2000 Pro clients that have recently come up with errors mapping network drives due to the net command "dissapearing". The clients are on a domain and you can manually map the drives. I have tried sfc, recovery console, windows 2000 repair, and copying the net.exe from...

    Dell Inspiron 5100 Video Driver

thanks every one for the feedback. I'm still unable to make the video work with this laptop and win2k. I'll probably just reinstall winxp. I think it's an injustice when a computer company tells you can't install any operating system you want.

    Dell Inspiron 5100 Video Driver

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The Dell laptop in question is an Inspiron 5100. I'm told there's just no W2k drivers for it, but was hoping some one has a solution.

    Dell Inspiron 5100 Video Driver

Does any one know of a video driver for a Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 2000. The card is a ATI Raedon Mobility M7. There are drivers for Windows XP, but our company installs Windows 2000 on all computers. I've searched and searched with no luck. Dell says they just don't have it and ATI...

I'm currently writing and compiling 7.0 reports. After I loaded a compiled report onto three different PCs including my own, we were no longer able to launch 6.0 canned reports supported in another software program (Remedy). I'm assuming a dll was loaded into one of the system files causing...
