Any one know if I can implement Instance Messaging service on the Exchange 2000 cluster (Active/Passive)? Do I need to install the IM service on both nodes?

using move mailbox method upgrade. I also have a exchange 2000 as a SRS.
Problem: when create testuser on a exchange 2000 cluster, the testuser send out an email to someone@yahoo.com
someone@yahoo.com will see the testuser...

you mean change authentication the services in outlook 2000 or 2002. If so change it to what? right now I have it under "password authentication" the other choice are "distributed password authentication" and "none"
