Hi, I got the problem when access OWA after put in username, password, domain and wait for like 5 min. the
http:1/1 503 Service Unavailable error appears. Any idea?
I did install Exchange2000 spk2, but it didn't help. I also aware of the Q282230 (that is running Exchange 2000 Server hosts both Exchange content and file system content from the same virtual server)
Thanks very for any help.

How can I figure it out if I use iislockd??
thanks

You had to install it.

Check Add/Remove Programs. The new one asks for the server role. Dan

I checked and I did not have iislockd on my Exchange server.
Is it a good idea to uninstall IIS and reinstall it on my production Exchange server? Will it screw up my Exchange box? I've spent like a week try to resolve this OWA problem, but getting no luck.
please help and thanks alot

yeah its an alright thing to do.

you will have to run setup for E2k and choose reinstall and then re-service pack Dan

Thanks Dan,
I will try it this weekend, 'cause the whole process would take at least 2.5 hrs down time.

one more thing, do I need to reboot after uninstall IIS,
or any more reboot during the whole process?

If it tells you to :)

I don't recall. Also make sure to install SMTP and NNTP when you put back IIS. Dan
