No user access to IE's "Downloaded Program Files" for ActiveX

go 1 folder level higher and change the security (for testing 1st) and apply to subfolders. If that doesnt work, create a new user account and see if the problem still exists. It could be the default user profile settings that are causing this.

Cannot Send Emails to a Specific Domain

Afte further testing it appears that i can only send to the administrator@othercompany.com but not anyone else. I have verified that i am not on anyone's block list, and that they can receive mail from other addresses (i.e. my home email). I get the following message: Reporting-MTA...

    Active directory

You need to complete the AD install by running the wizard (start->run->dcpromo). I'm assuming that you cancelled out of the wizard that comes after the win2k install is completed. You cannot have a Win2k DC with Active Directory. If you insist on a WinNT domain, then you need complete the AD...

    Accounts Continuously Locked Out

Dont know if this matters, but is the 'krbtgt' account listed in AD users and computers? It should be listed and disabled (default). Also do you have any group policies running? Make sure there arent any broken GPs, AD links, and missing folders under the SYSVOL folder.

Pointing Servers to a Specific Domain Controller....How?

We are experiencing delays with user logon over the WAN. Our remote sites have their own Domain + a BDC for our Domain, and a full trust has been setup. When a user with an account in our Domain tries to logon to a Server at the remote sites, it appears that the authentication is occuring at...

w2k server SLOW to connect to XP

Are you using Active Directory? If you are, then you need to setup DNS on one of your servers. If not, then setup WINS and put the IP of the WINS servers on the PCs

Citrix XP not mapping drives right, help

Search Citrix's Website. I thinks there is a way to remap the drive in the registry. You can also uninstall Citrix and Reinstall it.

w2k server SLOW to connect to XP

DNS....I think you are using the ISP's DNS, which is the only way to browse the Net. You can either setup DNS on the Server and use forwarders to the ISP, or install WINS and see if that helps. If you are in a domain enviornment, then you must already have DNS.

    Customize NFuse Login Screen

what version of NFuse are you using. ver 1.6 is very different from the previous ones. Everything is stored under the %systemroot%\java directory. You can go to citrix's website and download many articles that will explain what file you can modify and their locations.

Citrix XP not mapping drives right, help

That looks wrong. Normally, citrix will not remap drives unless you ask it during the setup. Once you select the drive letter the C: will become, it should map everything else after it. (i.e. C=M, D=N, E=O) I have seen where it only does the C: drive, and then you have to manually (Using Disk...

Exchange 5.5 NT4.0 To new Server running Exchange 5.5 and W2k server

Use this article (Q155216) from MS http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q155216& I know it doesnt talk about Win2K, but i found it to be the easiest method. Note that you will need to keep the same server name and IP info (i recommend keeping the same IP but it is not...

    Event ID 1202 & 1000

I thinks all you have to do is open Active Directory Users and Computers, right click on the Domain Controllers OU -> group policy tab. Then delete the policy and add a new one. Also, in Active Directory Users and Computers, goto view-> advanced, and then expand the system folder until you...

    Public Folder Replication Problem

Well try what Xybertron suggested. If that didnt work, then stop replicating to all of your servers. Find a server with the right public folder content, and then delete the public folders from the other servers. Start replication from the server withe the right content back to the other servers...
