If you run IPCONFIG on your machine, the DHCP Server of your cable modem is 10.xxx.xxx.xxx or it´s other IP? If your machine is 24.200.xxx.xxx, what is its network mask? Don´t give up, Spectreman! ;-)

Don´t you to have configurate your network to this network segment? I mean if your network is 192.168.xxx.xxx how machines w/ 10.xxx.xxx.xxx can seem them? Maybe its a network mask thing. Now I have a doubt! ;-)
