>I think your only answer is to ask someone at the remote site to conncxt up a keyboard.
Unfortunately that appears to be the case. My only hope is that the client didn't scrap the Windows 7 box.
Good afternoon, all. Our client took away our old Windows 7 machine that we used for administrating remote Call Pilot sites. In its place is a Windows 10 box. I configured dial up networking with the username "ngensys" and the default password. However, when I get connected to the remote Call...
Hi Folks. I have a site with a Norstar. When their office takes a call, they pick it up and hear the caller and dial tone. It's almost as if another line is camping onto the originating call. Anyone ever have this happen to them? What gives?? It happens with every incoming call.
Jax is correct. I've had this experience in the past. The customer "thinks" they are calling the correct number when in fact they are not.
Try calling different variations of your toll free number ie. 800-555-1212, 888-555-1212, 877-555-1212, etc... There are times when it was requested by...

I'm trying to make changes in Terminal Manager and when I check the Sync Logs to see if the change went thru I'm seeing "Failed Logon Attempt". I can "rlogin" into the PBX using the same username and password and everything is OK. I did not change anything in the system. Can...
Badcat, I compared my own set, forward activated vs not activated, in LD 11 printouts, and could not find any difference. The printout shows that the TN retains the last forwarded number (13 CFW 16 917168444444) even when not active. Scratching my head.. .
I could run a trace and call, but I'd...
Hi group. Quick question, short of getting up from my cube and physically walking over to a phone to see if it is set to forward calls, how can I tell if a phone is forwarding calls? What is the load to check this? Thanks, Bill
As a rule of thumb, try to schedule the port job after business hours to minimize disruption. Personally I'd schedule it for friday end of business. That way if it screws up you have the entire weekend to get it resolved.
Thanks Bignose21! I'll try that next time.. .
You could say I got caught with my pants down on this one. I outed a bunch of disconnected digital telephones recently. Then this week an admin assistant phoned the helpdesk saying they wanted to use an old phone that was stashed away in a desk...
Hi. We OUTed a bunch of TN's in the terminal a couple months ago. Turns out a couple of them should have stayed. I need to rebuild them. Their config is still in Telephony Manager. Can I push it from TM to the switch successfully? I tried once but received an error saying the TN does not exist...
Good morning group. I came in early this morning to STAT conference loop 017 and still saw that I had 1 busy. Who would be doing a conference at 7:45AM? So, I disabled (disl 017) it, enabled (enll 017) it, then tested (cnfc 017) it. The test only took 5 or so seconds and it came back OK. I then...
Ok. Turns out she is not the only one complaining. It doesn't happen all the time but maybe 1-2 times per week. I checked conference loops 001 and 017 again and 017 seems to always show "CHAN 00 DSBL 01 BUSY" while loop 001 is not busy at all. Can I test this during the day?
