Thank you, I'll look into that. I knew it had to be something standard. I'll let you know how it goes and might ask a couple more questions if necessary. Thanks again!
Hi all,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm not exactly sure which query to search to find it... Oh, first off, IP Office r2 v500, VM Pro. I need an option in the auto attendant to give the commands "leave a voicemail or continue to hold" basically.
So, we have an option to dial the...
Hi all,
I'm about to do a bigger upgrade than I have before. System is an IP Office 500 v2 running 7.0 right now. We're going all the way to 10. It's just essentials and in 7, there was no license needed for that. The only license is for some IP endpoints we have there.
I've read about the...
Well, turns out I'm an idiot. They have voicemail pro, not embedded. It's been a year since I worked on the system and I guess I forgot we did that. Anyhow, the problem was the same. It's not something I have run into yet. On our work system, *17 takes us directly into voicemail and we have pro...
So if the extension, password, and "user name" are already set up, there is still no way I can make this work with analog phones is what you are saying?
They're hoping for no extension and no password for each phone. Maybe I said it incorrectly. There is a message button on the phone. When they pick it up and hit the message button, we want no option for extension or password. Just straight to the actual voicemail.
Hi all,
Having some issues with embedded voicemail. Working on an ip office 500 v2 8.0. My problem is getting into the voicemail without additional steps.
The system is being used in a small hotel setting. They need the shortcode to go directly into voicemail. All the options I have tried ask...
They are already set to speaker in the audio path. You can hear the dialing and the call goes through, but there is no audio on either end of the call when you dial as a speakerphone. And why they want speakerphone when they have headsets, who knows?? Office full of girls I suppose...
I've got a customer with an Avaya IP Office 500v2 running 7.1. 1/2 of the office uses 9508 and 9608 phones with no problems. The other 1/2 use 9508's with Plantronic headsets model C054. The ones who use the headsets are having issues. It seems that every time the system is reset or their phones...
Thanks for the info intrigrant. I thought 95xxs and 96xxs would be able to do all the same stuff. I will take ringtones per incoming call line off the table for them. Also, I use the help files as much as I can in manager. F1 is my best friend. I just missed the tagging. I try not to bother you...
Oh, ok. I had not noticed that field before. So it looks like, while the phone is ringing, depending on the incoming dialed number, it will display whatever I put in the Tag field. Once it is picked up, it will display as normal, so they have to catch that before picking up. If I understand that...
Hi all,
Working on an IP office 500v2, R 8.1. I have a customer with (right now) 3 different incoming lines. 2 of them are 800 numbers, 1 is local. Working off a PRI (well, SIP to PRI handoff through an Adtran, but PRI as far as the Avaya is concerned). They are wanting the phones to show which...
Hi all!
I've got an IP Office 500v2 running 7.0 firmware. I opened the monitor today and about every second I am getting these messages:
130857mS PRN: IP408_BroadcomPhy::read; incorrect value read on turnaround
130857mS PRN:
131857mS PRN: WARNING:
131857mS PRN: IP408_BroadcomPhy::read...
Ah yeah. That fixes the auto attendant coming on at night and calls going directly to them during the day. Hadn't ever needed to use that with VMPro, so never really looked at it. Right on.
Ok, so then back to your first post. The calls come in and go to a group (whether through the auto...
Oh, forgot to mention they wanted it to be a more personable experience, so they are not using the auto attendant. With VMPro, would have been easy to direct calls to the phones during the day and then to an auto attendant at night. I didn't see an easy way of doing that with the embedded auto...
