Over simplified, but an easy way to think of it is the Call-Server handles DN to TN conversion, the Signalling server expands on this with TN to IP conversion.

The CS1K needs IP sets and H323 trunk licenses.

MikeyTen4,
thanks for your kind comments, and I'm very glad you find the site so useful :) I'm also very glad you got your issue resolved! Also, show the virtual trunks status with: STAT VTRM <cust> <route>
Have a great weekend.

From the link you provided, print the RDB for Route 10 in LD 21. In the ISDN section, determine the DCH number. Got LD 96, and try RST DCH xx. Good luck!

Telephonist, I've got some notes here, perhaps there's something useful: http://pbxbook.com/meridian/hardware/addipe.html
As suggested, I would disable the Sys Mon TTY, and pull it. The power cables can be a bit tricky to get at, so make sure they're properly mated. Good luck.

saaphoneguy, check the following settings in Element Manager:

phonetech2012, it works with CS1K set to ISGF, and the IPO QSIG-B. Names and caller ID then work both ways.

There's a page on ZBD here: http://pbxbook.com/meridian/admin/zbdmanip.html
Good luck figuring out, as KCFLHRC says, ZBD can get freaky.

Buddy, in my notes I have: With PuTTY, Softkeys 1 - 4 are Function Keys F1 to F4. Softkey 5 is Enter, and Help is Del on the Numeric Keypad.

baseparamsconfig should work for the SS's, though the MGC's (and possibly other stuff) will need changing too. It's not a simple task, especially on a working system... never break a working system!! lol. Perhaps there is some info you can use here...
Second post above, there's a link with instructions. Here it is again: http://pbxbook.com/meridian/admin/card_mov.html
The trick is, you have to leave CUST blank, then it will work and do exactly what you want :)

NMS enables message waiting lamps over tie trunks, its a CallPilot keycode option. The CS1K CallPilot should be able to take messages without it though, so you still have a local issue.

EngMajdi82, I also think you're going to have to get rid of that 8 access code. Perhaps you can find a few ideas here: http://pbxbook.com/bcm/bcm_o11.html
