Moving Card to new Slot 1

I've recently inherited a Nortel CS1000. It's been a few years since i worked on one and i'm a bit rusty. hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have 2 separate cs1000 stacks. One of them has been out of service for awhile. I have a new building that is being built, and i want to put the spare stack in place. I've got networking in place to support it. I'm really only interested in using it as an analog gateway.

Everything is working as it should, i can fire up the switch and get dial tone and make calls.

My query is this. there are 2 cabinets in the stack, Cabinet 1 has the processor card in slot 1, and no other cards. Cabinet 2 has an analog line card in Slot 7, and no other cards.

I want to take the card out of slot 7 and move it to slot 2. I'm doing this in order to save space in my already limited rack.

If i remember correctly i need to OUT all of the lines and the card, then run a command to move it... but for the life of me i cannot remember how. With my old Nortel i had a wall of all the manuals to reference, with this one i have nothing.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes, it's best to capture all the line data in slot 7 and then delete it by using the command

>LD 14
REQ OUT 8
TYPE COT
TN 7 0 (Use the first TN on the card)

Assuming that all the COT trunks are using the same route and in order, then use NEW 8 in LD 14.

I didn't think the MOV command worked for trunks from one card to another, but only on the same card.

I am trying to move an Analog Card. I'm having some difficulty with this. I believe it may have to do with the fact that this system is on a different loop. It's listed as loop 8, but when i list the loops in my switch i do not have 8.

This is what i get when i try to mov via ld 25

The cabinet does show 8 on the card.

*edit. specified that i tried to mov via ld 25

So i've been doing a bit more investigation into this which might help shed light on my problem.

the cabinets i'm working with are part of a Media Gateway Controller that is separate from my primary PBX which i am logging into.

I can login to the secondary media gateway controller as Admin, however i am left with an OAM prompt, which i'm not familiar with.

You shouldn't be logging into the MGC card. Log into the Call Server and do what Mike suggests

Mikepbxb, Thank you very much. your trick regarding leaving the customer blank was just the ticket.
The card has been moved. I'm adding my output below for future admin's having similar problems.
