I have a 7.65 CS1000 and the user is reporting that when the redial softkey is depressed on ANY of the 1120 sets they, the phone immediately displays "Connecting..." qand shortly after displays "server error, try later". Then when the "cancel" softkey is depressed, the phone comes back to normal operation and incoming/outgoing calls process as normal. The issue only happens when pressing the redial, or callers softkeys apparently. I read that it could be a PD issue, but unclear. Any help would be appreciated. thanks again!!

The PD has to be enabled on the signal server in the node properties. Does it work on other IP set models?

Check the following in Element Manager:

IP Network > IP Telephony Nodes > Personal Directories (PD)

Check box next to Personal Directory Server: Enable Personal Directory (PD) service on this node.

IP Network > Personal Directories > Server Configuration

Enter the ELAN Signaling Server IP address at Server IP Address.
Sync and 'restart applications' for any changes to take effect.
