How do you get the IP Phone to change firmware if you don't use IP Phone Manager? On the 3C phones themselves, there is no place to specify a specific FTP/TFTP server or to force a firmware download.
Hi,
I'm not even getting far enough to have the phone try and load the software. As soon as I pick a phone from the list, click Connect and try to set the phone to Online, I receive the error message.
Anuy ideas?
I have been trying to use the NEC IP Phone Manager software to change the firmware from Std SIP to NEC SIP (phones were on a 3C) but have not been having success. I can click the Search button and find the phones and then pick one and click Connect but when I do, I receive an error of "Regist...
Funny. I was thinking of that too and so did that already. I did the upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1 twice now... just to make sure the file copy completes successfully. There were no issues with the upgrade, no alarms on the system, and everything else seems to be working perfectly. Very strange issue.
I have rebooted the system multiple times, used different browsers, and it is on a 500 v2 chassis. The Self Administer webpage loads and works properly too.
Hi,
When I log in to the IP Office 9.1 Web Manager, I get the following error message "Unable to fetch the data from the server. Server may not have started properly or is unable to retrieve
the data."
I've tried rebooting and Manager can connect to the system without issue.
Anyone have any...
OK, I finally have this Avaya crap figured out. For the situation above that AntoineVella has, open Manager, click on File > Advanced > Reset Security Settings (default). Choose the LINUX APP SERVER and continue with the rest of the prompts.
Once complete, you do not need to reboot. Open...
I have the exact same situation. I upgraded our Linux App Server running 9.0.5 to 9.1 and it didn't keep the ip address info. I corrected it using linux command line but you can't access the GUI for the app server at all. No credentials work. The admin account works from the console though. Is...
Hi,
Now that the 2033 IP Conference phone is disconnected, does anyone have any suggestions on a replacement? Does the Avaya B179 SIP conference phone work?
Ricky
Hi,
Do you know if the R7 to R9 upgrade process will actually give me my Virtual Essential Edition license or is it going to totally screw me up? Has anybody tried this before?
Ricky
Hi,
I have a customer with an IP500v2 system with more than 32 extensions and they want to upgrade to the R9 software. Do I need to sell them the upgrade to R8 and the upgrade to R9 or just a single upgrade license to R9?
Thanks,
Ricky
Hi folks,
Wondering what people are doing to support the implementation of SIP Trunks to IP Office systems. Do you require the end customers to have a Session Border Controller or do you connect the trunks directly to the WAN port of the IP Office? We are looking at starting to implement them...
Hi,
Does the Avaya Secure Router 2330 support multiple branch IPSEC VPN connections that have dynamically assigned endpoint IP Addresses? For example, if I had 2 branch office locations and a single head office location, could the SR2330's in a mesh configuration support creating / terminating...
Thanks for the heads-up! So, if and when Avaya decides to fix this, can we change the Voice Mail mode from IP Office to Intuity withouy any headaches? What are the downsides / pitfalls?
Thanks.
Hi,
Is this issue with messages being cut off related directly with IPO R8.1 or Intuity mode in general whether on Embedded Mode or VoiceMail Pro.
Thanks.
Hi folks,
I have an IP Office running R8.1 that is currently configured to use IP Office Mode for Embedded Voicemail. If we were to change it to use Intuity Mode, would we have to re-record all of the greetings for the users mailboxes and Auto Attendant, etc.
Thanks.
