In the "actions", option 6 is defined as "dial by number
I have a 500v2 running 10.1 software and a PRI.
If a caller dials a DID associated with an extension, calls twin just fine.
If a caller tries to direct-dial from the auto-attendant, the call does not twin.
I've performed a system upgrade from 10.0 to 10.1 and it made no difference.

I've got Audacity 2.1.2.
When I try to save it, 16 bit PCM is a choice. Upon save and when playing it in Audacity, Audacity shows it as still being 32 bit float.
I have a royalty-free .wav file that we need to use as an internal Avaya IP Office MOH file.
This file is 32 bit float, 44,100Hz, mono. IP Office requires that this file be 16 bit , 8Khz, mono.
Is there an audio editing program that can convert this file to the correct format?

I've got a 9608 set running via VPN to a Netgear FVS336Gv2 dual-WAN firewall at the host site.
The phone works fine but, following a power outage, the VPN is disabled and has to be enabled.
Any ideas about why that's the case and how it can be corrected?

I've read several threads where auto-answer on external calls are discussed but they always seem to address how to turn it on.
My issue is somewhat different. I have one station that auto-answers external calls and it shouldn't.
Software R7.0, 1416 telephones.
There are no user short codes...
I get an "unhandled exception" error when accessing the receptionist phone in the "user" menu.
It doesn't occur whenever accessing any other station.

Installed IP Office 8.0, customer wants to view real-time station status to determine if employees are making personal calls.
Will install the SMDR application from the 8.0 CD, but this only provides CSV files and only when requested.
I understand that a third party application would be needed...
Does anyone have experience with CTI integration between IPO 500v2 and Medifast?
Customer has CTI Pro licensed, the Medifast vendor stated that the application can't work but I think he's just being lazy.
Possible middleware application?
