According to the user guide, it is a 3.7 volt Li-Ion. I just ordered one this morning that fits that description. However, I have no idea on the shape/size. But if it is the shape/size of a standard AAA battery, you may look at the ICR 10440. Long story how I know this (and I'm not sure that it...
Yes, I have recently ran into a similar problem. This customer is a single site, version 11.0.2.0 (build 23) with VMPro. I tried connecting, using VMPro Client, from several machines. I would get an error stating that the client is the wrong version, and that the correct version is 11.0.200.0...
There is a bug, in that, if you use the drop-down selection to assign destinations (like on incoming call routes), they don't work. If this is true in your case, try typing in the destination instead of using the drop-down.

Not working" and "not supported" are two completely different things. "Not supported" simply means that, as far as Avaya is concerned, you are on your own, and it may or may not work.

What release is this?
Are there any short codes built under Users or User Rights Groups?
Also, double-check your line groups, as I have experienced unexplainable, sudden changes in later releases. There is a whole slew of bugs out there.
Sometimes a reboot will cause "temporary" features...
A couple possible scenarios are in play....
1. Because you have the Line Appearances set to "Delayed Ring", someone can hear another phone ringing and wants to see the caller ID before it starts ringing on their phone. If this is the case, set it to immediate ringing, so they can see the caller...
1. Press "Login"
2. Enter the extension number, then OK (or #)
3. Enter the login code, which was entered under User>(Your Ext)>Telephony>Supervisor Settings>Login Code in Manager, then OK (or #)

Sounds like a possible memory space issue. Where are the recordings being saved? Are you running out of space there?

I know the documentation is not worded very well, but what it means is that, once a port has been used to upgrade a phone, that port will not upgrade another phone until the system has rebooted. I also suggest using a DS8 card's port, instead of a combo card's (if available).
Also, for what it...
Try checking the following settings in your firewalls/routers. It may take some trial and error on which should be on and which should be off.

H.323 ALG
Consistent NAT

Do the codecs match at both ends?

I seem to vaguely remember a similar issue using a 9611. When I swapped it for a 9608, the issue went away. I don't know if there is a 9611 issue with this, or if mine was an isolated incident. I always used 9608, but had a 9611, for some odd reason. Just a thought.

I have recently moved to the outlook.com solution discussed in this thread.... https://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1814176
It seems to be working just fine.... for now.

What types of trunks are we talking about at the receiving end? A POTS line usually does not actually ring on the IPO until the CID is received, between the first and second rings. Somebody correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't think SIP or PRI require this delay to pass CID. Just a thought...
Thank you, belvedere, but I cannot get either of those to install, due to the same issue. My guess is that it is some sort of Windows "security feature" blocking the installation. Windows Event Viewer is telling me that the installation fail, with an error code of 1063. I've followed many...
Same procedure as upgrade. Just make sure that you are using the same version of Manager that you want the device to be, and only select the units that you want to upgrade (downgrade).

My laptop has died, and I got a new one. However, when I attempt to install this software, I get the following Message:
"The wizard was interrupted before DSX System Administrator could be completely installed"
Is this a Windows 10 issue? Has anyone gotten this message before and successfully...
Make sure that the slide switch on the edge of the SD Card is NOT in the "Lock" position. If it is, it will prevent voicemails (and anything else) from being erased, thus filling up the useable space on the card.

You may be confused by the fact that the line port is an RJ45 instead of the traditional RJ11. Fear not, for it works just the same. These phones come with two different line cords. One is RJ45 at both ends (for plugging it into an RJ45 jack; presumably with a patch panel at the head end. The...
