Hi ALL

For our remote site, which is on (172.23.9.0/24), (PBX ip is 192.168.32.200)

at first, we had the One way audio issue on Ext to Ext calls, so we've uncheacked the "Allow direct media path".

Now, We have a wired issue with our phones on remote sites (no dial tone and cannot pick up calls),Seems to be intermittent.

any helps?

Thanks

Is this an SCN, or perhaps VPN phones?

What release(s)? Phone models?

Do the codecs match at both ends?

Please remember... If it's not the way that YOU would do it, that does not necessarily mean it's wrong. EVERYONE knows SOMETHING that you do not.

Thanks for this
We are using Avaya 9608 at both ends, same setting.

Phones are connected to the PABX over an IPsec tunnel.

Try checking the following settings in your firewalls/routers. It may take some trial and error on which should be on and which should be off.

SIP ALG
H.323 ALG
Consistent NAT

Please remember... If it's not the way that YOU would do it, that does not necessarily mean it's wrong. EVERYONE knows SOMETHING that you do not.

Thanks for your great help
I've managed to fix the one-way audio issue, and the Allow Media Path is now activated.
However, we have another problem.
Now we have the no signal issue.
The phone is on, and the display is working, but no dial tone is heard after the phone goes off-hook or if the speaker button is pressed.
If the phone reboots, it will work for a while, and the same thing will happen again (intermittently)
Many thanks

+this is usually happening when the phones are idle for a while and in the morning.
Remote sites are connected to tha main site over an IPsec tunnel.
each site has a Meraki MX64 at the edge.
