my post was to point out that OPT11c/SSC machines need to be SYSloaded when EDD issue described rares it's head. Known issue related to Z: drive of SW daughterboard. It happens often on machines that are very stable and power has been able to keep system running for long periods of time...
what rel and vintage of machines? REL 7.6 SP9 is latest, must also have matrix match in ASM. Many known issues in SIP SDP causing 1 way speech. Can also be solved by running SIP thru SBC and SBC can manipulate/ignore SDP. However cs1k does comply with IEEE SIP standards
Session Manager is...
Keep in mind that IDC looks at LDN length regardless of entry length in LD49. It is possible that carrier change and old carrier was delivering last 4 of PSTN, new carrier sending 7 digit PSTN inbound. If sending 10 digits of PSTN you may want to check SW pkg for expanded DN length. However...
The supported method anytime SIP is routed on cs1k is to deploy ASM. This is addition to making sure cs1k is under control of System Manager as the PSS.
SIP access ports are required and the Node needs to have SIP GW application deployed. As stated SIPL (Sip line) is a different GW application...
No system wide setting to change display format of time in LD2, it is a function of FW/LW per phone. The system format is used accros links like ELAN ELNK or AML links to sync other app servers

OPT11c/single SSC card running for long periods of time fill up RW (real word) machine buffers. Cannot EDD cannot run when this happens. Must Sysload to reset Memory words space. Dual CPU systems do this when they switch during MID routine. This is known issue on THOR systems.
Avaya did not know what it bought. They just wanted customers. Products were brought into Aura with cs1k 7.5 and higher and BCM/SRG 6.0 all Avaya branded and code changed to work with SIP interop of Aura. Data portfolio was like a foreign language to Avaya offices.
which if anybody remembers...
Should work as long as overflow you use is a valid DN under "timed overflow" entry of wizard. Any changes to call treatment require a reboot of service to take affect. I assume it is SECC 4.2 and properly patched.
PASS & PASS Plus are both a cost. PASS allows corrective content from MFGR and access to tech support. PASS Plus same as PASS but will cover off "like for like" upgrade on ISM's. HW/Labor is billable.
There is a location on sig serv to store the library of FW for all IP sets. multiple files of the .bin are allowed. The latest level is what will be pushed so if you want to down grade FW level you will need to remove later version from library. In Elem manager it is found under CS IP phones...
That cabinet can serve as multiple roles, remote fiber of main, mini-carrier remote, expansion cab of cab 0, survivable IP or MG of a main core.
under slot 0 there is a DB 9 connector and in NTP's it calls out pin assign. depending on what card is in slot 0 and how the core has it programmed...
