I was hoping to bump this thread as our users are saying that the older style phones used to work with a "conference", or "JOIN" after a transfer. I tried this and they do. Did Avaya take this away with the 96XX phones?
Is there a way to put a "JOIN" button on a softkey on the 96xx phone? My users wants to be able to use a "JOIN" button after transfering a call. They hit the transfer; call the new person; then press join so thay are all on a conference, then hang up.
We get occations where our tech support...
I have 9650 phones on a CM 5.2. I was told by a friend from another BP that he saw a way to program a button that when pressed, it will sent a incoming caller to a pre-determined station or ?? When I asked how, he didnt remmember.
So, if I am on a call, and see an incoming call, I can just...
Im still getting this busy from the calling end when calling from a CM2 to a s8400 CM 5.2 via an IP tie trunk. The phone being called rings. However, if station 761 has ec500 enabled, it works on both sides of the trunk. ( I hear ringback from the calling end and the phone as well as cell phone...
Hi,
I built up some new stations and added off-pbx-telephone stations onto two 9650 phones. These work well when I have the EC500 button enabled. However, if I disable the feature on the phone, then call the station number from a different phone, I get a busy.
If I do a list trace on the...
Thanks very much. Once again you are worth your weight in Gold; even at today's prices! I'll grab those doc's and play with my system. This post is one for the archives!
That was all I had in my "disp display feature-access-codes" was an activation code and deactivation code, nothing else about EC500 that I saw. I looked at another system with CM6, and only found the same in display feature-access-codes. Yet this guy swears it can be done.
My boss said he heard that there is a way that every user can change the destination number/s of their EC500 station in newer systems. Can someone let me know if this is true and what needs to be setup for these users in CM. (I currently have CM5.3)
Thanks,
Joe
Done.. In the g350 and the switch. Yes, the switch was also set at Auto Neg.
If this does the trick, there are not enough stars in the sky for you guys. I'll post later with the results.
OK, phew, thanks.... I had my BP here for other stuff and we got through disabling the negotiation on port 10/3. However, in the webview maitenance screen, I still show it as "auto Sense". Shouldn't this go away?
Ok, im looking at it now from the maintanence page/configure interfaces. it says under Ethernet 1: Control Network
"Speed (Current Speed: 100 Megabit full duplex) AUTO SENSE"
It sounds like I have to remove the auto sense, but I dont see where I can change it on this screen? Can someone tell...
Hi, I have an CM3 pbx that has a ton of IP licenses that have never been used until today. I have a 4612 ip phone that I tested good on my older CM2 (rel.12)system before installing it on the CM3. When I reprogram the phone for the CM3 system, the phone boots up, asks for extn, & password...
The board test shows "passed". The status sig shows "in service", and the stat trunk looks good.
Is there a way to verify real time or with reports which side is dropping the call? This problem continuous and I'm not certain what to do next.
Thanks everyone!
Joe
Hello ,
I have a chronic problem with dropped calls in their Avaya gateway. It has a PRI. I know that when a call drops, the carrier can look at a record and see which end dropped it. Problem is, getting someone at the Dubai phone company to do that will be quite hard.
Is there a diag in...
Hi,
I have a CM 5.2 with a multi-tennant environment where all tennants have their own analog CO trunks. The Main office for the complex is extension 2222. They are asking me if the system can be programmed so if a tennant dials 9, 2222 it can route to the main office internally. "9" is...
I have two site both with DS-1s from the same carrier. However, when I run a Link Performance measurement, I get different readings for the UAS/FS & CSS. One location has "0" (zeros) under these headings and the other system has "N/A".
I looked up and found the following definition...
