I belive the version is S.4.1.0-2 and I do not know if I'm using OctelNet, how do I find out how are this sites connected?

when I put the instruction .l num (list numbering-plan) I saw the destinations of each city. Now that I know that the Octel has this numbering plan, how does the Octel route to the message to each city? I don't think it does it by LAN connection because I do no see any LAN connection to the Octel.
