How to block incoming number Call Mgr 8.6.2 w/SIP

Thanks for all of your help. It is now working. Had to make new partitions, CSSs, and then translation patterns to match the numbers to block. Calls to be blocked are sent to a partition that can't go anywhere while all others are passed through.

How to block incoming number Call Mgr 8.6.2 w/SIP

Hello, I have been asked to block a specific phone number from calling into our system. The documentation I've found is for older versions and only talks about blocking inbound calls if you have MGCP or H.323 but we have SIP and are running version 8.6.2. I'm thinking it might be done with...

Thanks for the help and sorry for the delay. It turned out to be hardware, new phone fixed it. Took forever to get a replacement.

User has to hit button to answer call where before they could just lift the handset to answer.

A user in our call center (UCCX) with a 7945 phone used to be able to just lift the handset to answer calls. Now she has to also press the line button that shows the incoming call. How would I change it back to answer when the handset is lifted? UCCX version is 8.5.1.11003-32 Thanks.

Agents not given option to stop call recording

We are using the BCM. I'm going to reboot it tonight and see what happens. We didn't change anything so hopefully rebooting will fix it.

Agents not given option to stop call recording

We have a BCM50 with call recording set up for it to send an email with the sound file to a supervisor. Agents try to do the recording of a call but now don't have option to stop the recording and the email doesn't get sent.

How do I get a number to ring on more than 2 keys on a 2008?

Thanks, that got it working. I put SCR for the actual extension on key 0 then non-DIDs for keys 1 and 2. Moving the MCR 4750 to another key didn't hurt anything. Thanks.

How do I get a number to ring on more than 2 keys on a 2008?

Thanks for the responses. Telebub, does it have to be keys 0, 1, 2 in a row like that? Because there is another number MARP'd on key 1. Key 6 and 7 are open but when I tried to put the non-DID numbers on them I get an error saying SCH3683 For 2X16 set, handsfree Class of Service is defined...

How do I get a number to ring on more than 2 keys on a 2008?

I've been asked to have 3 keys on a 2008 ring for one number. We set up all of our 2008's to have a line 2 that rings when the first line is busy. For instance key 0 will be extension 4123 and their key 1 will be 5123. I don't know how to give them a 3rd line for their extension. Is this...

Any good BCM reporting software as alternative to RCC?

Does anyone have some ideas for reporting programs for a BCM 50 with realtime type screens as well? We have RCC but it has been problematic and even when it is working it doesn't provide all of the reports we would like. Thanks.
