Hi All,
I am having an issue with a prank caller that is calling about 300 times a day. His # shows up as an Withheld Number. He is calling into one of our 800#'s which is pointed to a DID we have and then it is routed to a hunt group.
I have searched the forum and I see where someone...
Hi All,
Thanks for any help on this.
For some reason when a caller calls in and chooses the dial by name option, they type in the first name of the individual, the system will prompt them with a list of individuals according to what they typed, and when they choose the person the phone will...
We set the VLAN at the switch level for the pc's and the phones.
On the IPO we have LAN1 for VLAN 300 and LAN2 for VLAN 350
VLAN 300 and 350 are both for voice, we created two due to having two companies under one roof and we did not want to run out of IP's on one VLAN.

we have two companies under one roof and we split the VLANs for voice and data for each company.
(180 users in Company A and 75 users in Company B)
We wanted to make sure that we did not run out of IP's also by using one DHCP scope.
We user both Lan1 and Lan2 on the IPO for the DHCP server...
What if we have two VLANs for voice, we have VLAN 300 and VLAN 350
can I add two of the L2QVLAN= options in DHCP?
Rob
Doc, we better back up. We don't have enough road to get up to 88.
kwing112000 - thanks
Our Voice VLAN is 300 and is disabled in Windows DHCP but our Data VLAN is 200 and I do see the following in the DHCP settings
MCIPADD=10.1.3.x,MCPORT=1719,TFTPSRVR=10.1.1.x,L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=300
Do I need this setting for the data VLAN?

kwing112000 - originally we used a DHCP server but we disabled DHCP for the voice VLAN because we are using the IPO 500 to assign the DHCP address.
In Avaya Manager - under System, LAN1, LAN settings, we have DHCP mode set...
Thanks amriddle01
(we do have two VLANs one for voice and one for data)
on our 4610 phones the phones will boot up and obtain all of the information without assigning the VLAN id.
I assume the 4610 is a better phone?

Hi All,
Thanks in advance. We are running IPO 500 R7. We just purchased some 9620L phones and during the initial boot up the phone will hang at the Waiting on LLDP for about 60 seconds.
I did check out the the other post here that took me to this...
The G drive is the Direct Attached Storage device on that server.
The recordings do work on the G drive but it only shows the calls made after I reinstalled the software (contact store) no call recordings before the reinstall, even after I copied the backup of all the call recordings back to...
Currently I am trying to get the previous calls to show back up in Contact Store so I am still working on the G drive at this point.
The install was done on the D Drive.
The G: is currently where I have the CSRecordings folder located.
When I log into Contact Store. I can go under...
I hope I am looking at the right reg key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\Network Alchemy\Voicemail\Directories\VRLDir)
if so, the directory listed is:
D:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\VRL

We currently have the Avaya Contact Store saving the recordings under G:\CSRecordings We have created a new drive R: located on a SAN so that we can store the call recordings there instead of...
We upgraded to R6 this morning and I wanted to test this 9630G phone out but when I plug it in it and press the * to program it says Enter Code
I am not sure what the "Code" is.
If I do not press the * to program then it says Waiting for LLDP
not sure what to do from this point.
