Question of the day is: Client has several 4400 series phones on IP412 v4.2.4, how do you program which ring tones you want to select or can you? Have tried the directions with the phone EXT #00 etc. and it doesn't seem to work, has it ever on the IPO?

Is it possible to set up paging from an auto attendant so an employee can call in remotely get the AA, enter a code and page? Could the caller be parked so anyone could pick them up? Had a customer ask this and thought it would be handy if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

We do have faststart enabled, would this affect the speed of the connection? I couldn't find a whole lot of info on the setting, have you had this issue?

We have a customer with a 412 v4.2.4 with a PRI for local calls. There are several remote sites on scn that dial out using the 412's PRI trunks, the problem is that they don't recieve a busy tone when the called party is busy, it just drops the call. Calls originating from the 412 are fine...
Great! Is there any installation documentation or can one of you fellows explain in more detail how to set this up? I just installed TAPI on my PC and do have Phone Manager Pro, from here I need to know the next step.

Adding 1 worked, thank you! Now while I have your attention, does the software version matter whether external calls are logged or not whether it be the system version or the phone?
By adding this does it strip off the area code before it sends out the digits? Adding this didn't work, do I need to add a 1 in front of the area code in the ARS?
