No busy tone on remote site calls 2

We have a customer with a 412 v4.2.4 with a PRI for local calls. There are several remote sites on scn that dial out using the 412's PRI trunks, the problem is that they don't recieve a busy tone when the called party is busy, it just drops the call. Calls originating from the 412 are fine, any ideas?

We do have faststart enabled, would this affect the speed of the connection? I couldn't find a whole lot of info on the setting, have you had this issue?

It can effect the connection speed after dialling, only by a second or so longer on our link to a Definity.

I did have a similar problem a while ago, disabling faststart solved the problem.
Avaya advise to use faststart only on SCN Trunks.

intrigant was right, me too had the same problem, it was solved by disabling faststart, even though it was a SCN
 
Disabling faststart worked, thanks for everyones help!
