I think I might have something that is more relevant...
I started noticing events like this in SysMonitor:
605850330mS CMExtnEvt: Dod: CALL LOST (CMCauseNormal)
Then this looks like a problem during a transfer, to me:
605745848mS CMExtnEvt: CC HMB 1: CALL LOST (CMCauseTransfer)...
Thanks, I turned on a bunch of additional logging under the T1 and SCN tabs now in the Monitor.
The alarm isn't a particular color in System Status. Just shows up as an alarm on the line for the SCN.
But thanks to the increased monitoring, I got a call drop and captured it and the issues that...
It is a T1 Flex PRI between them. Two T1's on one side (bonded or dual T1) and a single Flex PRI T1 on the other side.
SysMonitor has continued to be inconclusive, but I might be missing something. Is there a document on how to read it?
Otherwise, this continues to happen even though the T1's...
Just rolled out 4.2.14 on two Avaya IP 406 switches this week. Both are connected with Advanced Small Community Networking, and have a huntgroup that has ext's on both switches and it is that huntgroup that started having problems this week, where even when an ext. was logged in on the side that...
Was running Trend and Windows Firewall, so disabled Windows Firewall and it worked.
I read through the forums on fw.bat and have seen it mentioned before, but never found it in an installation (searching through the hard drive, etc.) Where is the info on the ports that it opens up? Just curious...
Removed the My Documents\Avaya folder. Logged in newly and was able to add speed dials. However the speed dials aren't showing when someone is on their phone or not... do I need to reinstall again?
Where are the Phone Manager Lite settings kept? Tried uninstalling the app, removed the C:\Program Files\Avaya... folders and when I reinstalled it it kept the ext. settings.
What I am trying to fix is the "Add User" option being grayed out when using the Speed Dials tab.
From another ACE, I got to check "Reserve Last CA" (under Telephony > Multiline Options) on all of the users to reserve the last CA for outbound calls. Gonna apply that to all of the ext's and see.
Was only checking the System Status for the central site. And in checking the other site I found just 2 occurrences where "no free channels are available" and the last one was from about 5 days ago.
Well the phones in use do have 3 call appearances and are 5610's. SCN appears to be OK, no errors in System Status indicating anything is maxxing out...
Well, there is an encrypted IPSec tunnel between the two sites, and the LAN traffic is wide open bewtween the sites (none of the ports being blocked).
Please say I don't have to buy additional licenses just to make this work...!
SCN setup between two IP Office 4.2 systems, and there are five Phone Mgr licenses, 1 is in use. Went to assign a user in Manager to use PM Pro instead of Lite. She is on the "other end" of the SCN as the licenses are housed on the other IPO switch (just wasn't sure if that might be an issue)...
There is a HuntGroup my client has which is setup in IP Office 4.2 between 3 sites. A person from each site can log into this HuntGroup (using a HotDesk account that is a member of the HuntGroup) and accept calls to the group.
However, when two people or more are on the phone in this same...
Thanks amriddle01! I don't know how I overlooked those options under the Voicemail tab before. We are running VM Pro and 0 works just fine and goes to the right extension. Woo!
An employee has changed her voicemail greeting to include "... or press 0 for the operator" in IP Office v4.2. How can I enable this for her ext. so when someone is in voicemail they can press 0 and it rings another ext.? Otherwise it just drops into voicemail.
Well, I have uninstalled Voicemail Pro v4.2.24 and reinstalled it, but this time didn't copy over the old folders. Just imported the old call flows which showed up just fine, and copied over the WAV files for the ext's. and for the greetings for the Auto Attendant, etc.
However, I'm getting...
Recently upgraded a 4.1.9 installation to 4.2.11, and upgraded Voicemail Pro to v4.2.24. Auto Attendant comes up great, all seems to be working.
Yet, when people check voicemail now using a shortcode *98 they go into the Auto Attendant.
The shortcode is setup like this: Feature: Voicemail...
