I have a customer with two BCM400's at 2 different sites connected via VPN network. I was able to access the remote BCM programming from the main office when I first installed the system but now I cannot, I have to remote into a remote computer and then access the system via the remote computer...
I always thought it was not possible, as I have never been able to get it to work myself. I was questioning myself because I just read a proposal form a a major system provider to one of my customers, and in their proposal thay claim to be able to do it.
Has anyone ever setup a BCM450 with a T7316e and T24 that can monitor and display the status of the sets on the remote BCM50. I have a customer that would like to do this, but I have not knomn it to be possible.

I have a customer with 2 MICS linked via private PRI and a centralized NAM voice mail a site A. Site B is now complaining that they cannot use F986 to tranfer to voicemail and when they use TRANSFER it ring the extension (which they do not want).
They also do not want to use DND on the sets...
Was just ask a question by a customer that had me puzzuled. We just upgraded them to a BCM450 from a MICS. The question asked was this. When calling another person in the office who is on their phone, the MICS used to display on the calling extension "On another call". Can the BCM450 do this as...
Had the same problem with a switch last week. I was unable to load the keycode manually or via software. Had to do a level reset. After the reset I could load the file, switch worked fine.

Just installed a new BCM 450 R5 at Site A. Site B has a BCM 50 R2 that is networked to Site A via VOIP trunks and VPN.
Customer has all incomming callls to Site B (BCM50) reidrected to Site A (BCM 450) to be answered by a single attendant. The call can then be re-routed back to Site...
Hardware is cheap on Ebay. Buy a MICS and a few sets and experiment on the bench. Don't be like so many paople that think telephones, nothing to it.
