I have a MICS that lost all its programming, they have a straight T1 (no pri), I can't figure out the settings to make this work. I am good on the target lines, there is no 9 in the pool codes, but will not let me build a dest code with a 9. I can build one with 8, but they are saying busy or...
I have this same issue ongoing right now, I am pulling the log files for Nortel so that they can escalate to Level 2. That description that SD posted previously is what I found originally and that is exactly what it is.
You need to give the voice mail Extension number access to the lines you are using, you also have to set up a destination code and route. In my experience you cannot use a line pool to accomplish this. Try doing those two things, then put your dest. code + phone number in the block within VM...
I think I will do just that wait for either specific directions, or get an engineer involved. Last time I was on the line with a well trained engineer. Thanks
My command line skills are little, is there anyone that knows the keystrokes to get me to those files, I am going through IP address 10.10.11.1. I have been there once but that was about 2 years ago, with help as well.
I am trying to load patches on a BCM 400 3.6 Build 2.2c, after system health check it comes back and says, not enough disk space on BCM drive:/E, where do I go and how would I correct this problem?
I got a location were the customer does not want to use Voice Mail boxes and we still have calls going into Gen Del. We do use AA with a CCR tree with park and page prompts off of it. We use a hunt group for the Operator which rings 3 different phones. No phone has forward no answer set to...
Whatever line in system you want to do this with, just make that number ring on the phone with the Voice Mail Box, and under capabilities and your forwarding options send it to Voive Mail DN.
I am having te same problem as bluemr2, I cannot perform a backup/restore, also I cannot load patches. When I try to load them for a second time, even though I do not see them in the inventory, it says obsolete like it has already been installed. Can bluemr2 post what you find out from Nortel.
If 5 is your destination code in routing and it is going out on your route that is built for VOIP trunks, it sounds like you need to set you destination code to absorb 1 or all to strip the 5 and only sent the last 3 gigits dialed.
He is using a cisco VPN client and Cisco is trying to get them to go over to the cisco VOIP system. And he says he is not going to change that. What type of VPN clients would it work on?
Trying to use an IP2004 over a VPN connection. The VPN is cisco and he is saying it cannot find server. It has been working the office for a couple of months. They are on software 3.6, any words of wisdom, he says his firewall is opened wide. His laptop is connected on the other side of IP...
